Easy Chicken Salad!


If you are aspiring to eat healthier but you're struggling on cooking or just don't know where to start, this is a fabulous chicken salad recipe iv found when browsing healthy options. This recipe does not take long to create which leave no reason to complain and turn to fast food. The grilled chicken, as well as the tiny bit of vegetables, provides protein and nutrition to the meal. As a university student, I find it difficult to make time throughout my day, to make myself a healthy alternative to eating out, however, this is a great option that I wanted to share because it can be done in as little as 10 minutes.

Ingredients (1 Serving)

  • 4-ounces of grilled chicken breast, with the skin, removed
  • 2 cups of chopped lettuce
  • 1/3 cup of sliced carrots
  • 1/3 cup of chopped cucumber
  • 1/4 cup of chopped red onion
  • 1-ounce cheese crumbled to taste raspberry vinegar
  • Optional
    • Salad dressing

Directions

  1. Cut the grilled chicken into bite-sized pieces
  2. Toss chicken with the lettuce, vegetables, and cheese
  3. Add raspberry vinegar (salad dressing) and toss again
